Sizing Help | Condition of Items

Sizing of items

Any sizes we give within the description of each item for sale are modern day sizes, this avoids any confusion.
 
If an item has a label, we ignore the size on the label. This is because vintage sizes vary massively from modern day sizes.
 
Be sure to check the actual measurements we provide in our descriptions. These are measurements taken from the garments themselves and are not body measurements, so make allowances for fit. They are calculated as follows:
 
Bust - measured across the fullest part of the bust.
Waist - measured across the narrowest part of the waist.
Hips - meaured across the fullest part, generally 7 - 8" below the waist.
Length - measured from mid shoulder/top of waistband to bottom hem of the garment.
Sleeves - measured from outer shoulder seam down to cuff.

Condition of items

• Gold - this means the item is as new, or never worn. No flaws or wear & tear.
